SQUELCHING (SONIC ARTS PROJECT)
SELF RELEASE
I chose this name for my track because the main part is Acid sounds. Acid tastes sour and feels squeaky. For the start of my production, I always fantasise about creating an intro for my track. The intro can be important for the listener because it can attract them to the main part. I usually use some drones and pads with deep tones to brighten tones, and I use bass lines because the sound can be warmer.
For the main part, I create some natural ambience sounds for my music. Many mechanical machines can also produce ambient sounds; for example, I record the sound of a printer machine and create a loop. I also recorded the sound of a mega electric box near my house, put some sound effects on it, and changed the equalizer. I use my midi controller to create some synth leads, including metal and
dark vibes. I used reverb because I wanted to create more wet sounds with decay to create an impressive atmosphere. Squelching started with ambient, then created acid environments, and at the end of the track, it returned to the first part and reminded you what happened in the first, like a true story.
